The doctors suggested to me that they like to see us women breast feed up to a year because it is very healthy for the baby, but in reality it is all up to you when you would like to stop like me I am 7 and a half months pregnant and I plan on breast feeding for at least 10 months, plus after so long you can start using a pump and put them on bottles. Good Luck and congratulations it is a wonderful experience.

I was told that most drs recommend until atleast a year but it can be beneficial past this point too.. I have been struggling with this question myself.. My daughter is 12 months and I am 16 weeks pregnant with baby #2 I have just decided to let my daughter decide when she is ready to wean herself.. one fo those things that I am just playing be ear according to the needs and wants of the two of us.. It is an incredible bonding experience too.. enjoy it I cant wait to start nursing the other baby as well =)

around 10 months
