38,000 Toy Wagons Recalled

July 27, 2005
Radio Flyer Inc. has recalled 38,000 Classic Walker Wagons. The wooden wagons have a push handle and removable wooden stake sides, and are red with "Radio Flyer" written in white lettering on each side. They are 22 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 16 ½ inches high, measuring to the top of the handle. The recalled wagons have black plastic clickers located between the rear wheels and the wagon that make a clicking sound when the wheels turn. The tips of the clickers can break off, posing a choking hazard. Some wagons have clear plastic clickers and are not included in the recall.

The wagons are intended for children between the ages of 1 and 4. They were sold at toy, department, and discount stores, in catalogs, and on websites for about $80.

To receive free replacement clickers, or for more information, call Radio Flyer Inc. at (800) 621-7613 between 8:30 A.M. and 5 P.M. CT Monday through Friday, or e-mail 12repair@radioflyer.com , or visit www.radioflyer.com.
