50,000 Toy Mobile Phones Recalled

International Playthings Inc. has recalled 50,500 iPlay My First Mobile Phones. The toy phone's antenna can detach, posing a choking hazard.

The phone is a red and blue flip style, with a yellow bear on the cover and a yellow antenna. Inside the phone are five round orange numeric buttons and a sun button. When the buttons are pressed, various ring tones sound. The inside top cover of the phone contains a mirror and spinning star with a ladybug button. The phones were sold at specialty toy stores nationwide for about $13.
