668,000 Mini-Trampolines Recalled

April 6, 2006
Stamina Products, Inc. has recalled 668,000 InMotion Trampolines. The round, black, mini-trampoline measures 36 inches across and has six 7 1/2 inch-long metal legs. Most mini-trampolines with model numbers containing 35-1625 are included in the recall. Those with model numbers 35-1625C and 35-1625CW are not included. The model numbers are stamped on a label on one of the legs.

If a consumer assembles the trampoline alone and the outside rail is released, the trampoline may snap back into the folded position and striking the consumer, posing a risk of serious injury.

The trampolines were sold at Wal-Mart, Play-It-Again Sports, and other various retail outlets nationwide and online sellers for about $20. To contact Stamina for new assembly instructions, call (800) 375-7520 between 7:30 A.M. and 5 P.M. CT Monday through Thursday, between 8:00 A.M. and 3 P.M.
