This short video shows how to change a diaper for boys and girls
By Parenting.com
Next to feeding and trying to get your baby to sleep, changing your baby's diaper is what will hog most of your time and brain cells. Here are the real secrets successful diaperers need to know:
Have the diapers, rash ointment, and baby wipes on the changing table and within easy reach of you and your baby. Place a new diaper under your baby's bottom to contain leaks or sprays. If you have a boy cover his penis too, which can make for a fine fountain. Move a poopy diaper far enough away from your baby that he can't stick his toes in it.
Today's disposables are almost foolproof. Just lay the diaper flat, position your baby on top of it with the fastening tabs behind him, wrap the front over his belly, and secure the tabs at his waist. The fist should be snug, but not uncomfortably tight.
