You don't need a whole new wardrobe. You can revive your closet by updating these key pieces:

Jewelry: Buy one bold necklace. Oversize, shiny, and sparkly are all spring trends, as are large bangles (slip on more than one!).
Tops: A blouse with a touch of ruffle, pleating, or lace will look current. Have fun with the new brights (magenta and electric blue especially) by pairing them with a classic trouser or pencil skirt. Graphic floral prints also freshen up a basic bottom.
Belt: Primary-colored and sequined belts can make an ordinary work look extraordinary. Put one over a black dress or a long, lightweight cardigan.
Shoes: Modernize your look with a peep-toe, patent heel or a pair of ballet flats in a pretty shade.
Bag: Go for a jumbo, patterned tote. It's fresh and practical for the office.

Adult toys in the bedroom -- a do or a don't?

Yes, yes, yes!
Sure, in theory, but I'd be too embarrassed!
