Can I lift weights during pregnancy?

Light weight training can be a great way to stay fit during pregnancy. Check in with your doctor first to make sure it's okay for you to continue at your current pace. Use lighter weights (no more than 5 to 12 pounds), and don't lift while lying flat on your back.
