Kitty Cats
Frost cupcakes with white or chocolate icing. For the nose, use a gumdrop or a jelly bean; draw the mouth with black or yellow tube frosting. Use thin black or red licorice cut into 2-inch segments for whiskers. Make cat's eyes with gumdrops, dried cranberries or cherries, or maraschino cherries cut in half. For ears, cut squares of chocolate in half diagonally to form triangles; slip into cupcake.

Bridal Party
Buy or make an angel food cake. Dress a Barbie doll in a white wedding dress and veil, and wrap the dress from the waist down in plastic wrap to protect it from the frosting. Then lower the doll into the hole in the middle of the cake. Frost top and sides of cake with whipped cream. Bring the whipped cream up to Barbie's waist and it will look like the cake is part of the wedding dress.

Racetrack
Use a frosted, rectangle-shaped cake. Mark the finish line with flags (the kind on toothpicks, available at party supply stores and some supermarkets) and thin ribbon. Create lanes with piped black frosting. Position Matchbox-type cars (ideally, one for each partygoer) on the racetrack.
