Homemade Christmas Paper Placemats

These fun DIY placemats that are the perfect Christmas craft for kids, and look great on the holiday dinner table

By Sharon Pierce McCullough & Kristin Fitch

You will need:

  • Heavyweight printer paper
  • Glitter glue (We used gold & white but silver would also look great)
  • Scissors
  • Laminating pouch

What to do:

  1. Print the image.
  2. Trim edges, as needed.
  3. Squeeze a blob of glitter glue onto work surface and then dab the glitter onto your image in a thin layer, using your finger. Kids, particularly, love this part! We put gold glitter on the bodies of the reindeer, but any color will look great.
  4. Let dry thoroughly.
  5. Insert glitterized image into the laminating pouch and follow directions on package to get a smooth surface.
