Easy Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

An easy way to make cinnamon rolls for breakfast, brunch, or a kid-friendly snack. Plus, see more of our favorite healthy kids snacks.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk

For the filling:

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and butter together until crumbly. Beat together the egg and the milk and add to the flour mixture. Roll out in a rectangle about 6″ x 18″. Spread dough with butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up the dough length-wise pressing to seal the edges. Cut into 1-inch sections, 12 in total and place into an ungreased muffin tin. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
