GeoCentral Necklaces Recalled

GeoCentral of Napa, California has recalled about 19,000 children's necklaces. The metal clasp of the necklaces contains high levels of lead which can be toxic if ingested.

The recalled necklaces have a multi-colored butterfly pendant on a multi-colored seed bead 16-inch necklace. The packaging has a white hand card with "GeoJewelry" written on the front, under "GeoCentral." The necklaces were sold at souvenir and gift shops nationwide from January 2006 to May 2007 for about $2.

Consumers should immediately take the necklaces away from children and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund, or contact GeoCentral for information on how to receive a refund.
