Gerry is a CPA and a certified financial planner with more than 17 years of experience. For 14 of those, he was a client service manager with firms specializing in tax and financial planning for businesses and high-net-worth individuals. He enjoyed its challenges, but he also believed that everyone, regardless of income level or net worth, can benefit from financial planning, at least periodically, as they strive toward their cherished life goals.
With this mission driving him, Gerry created his own company, O'Donoghue Financial Planning, to focus on providing quality independent financial and investment planning to individuals and families.
Gerry was born in the U.S. but spent his childhood in Ireland before his family moved back to the States during his teenage years. He now lives in Somers, NY, with his family, and enjoys coaching his three energetic children in soccer and playing golf -- when he can.
