How to Remove a Splinter

By Laura Flynn Mccarthy

If the splinter is in deep, or if the area looks red and swollen, you'll need a doctor's help to get it out. If not:

Step 1: Wash the area with soap and water.

Step 2: Apply a little white glue over the part of the splinter that's sticking out.

Step 3: When you peel off the dried glue, the splinter should come right out.

Step 4: Dab on an antibiotic ointment and cover with a bandage.
