Infant Bouncer Seats Recalled

April 18, 2007
Oeuf LLC has recalled about 1,400 Infant Bouncer Seats after receiving six reports of broken frames. The bouncer seat's tubular metal frame can break, potentially causing a baby to fall out of the seat.

The recalled product is the Oeuf infant bouncer seat, model number 2005, with a padded canvas seat that is brown with white, blue or pink stripes. Attached to the canvas is a three-point safety belt. A tubular steel frame supports the bouncer seat. The bouncer seat was sold for about $100 at specialty stores and Web sites nationwide from September 2006 through March 2007.

Consumers should stop using the bouncer seat and contact Oeuf LLC for a repair kit. For more information, call (800) 691-8810 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit www.oeufnyc.comTo view this entire recall, including pictures, visit: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07162.html.
