Metal Key Chains Recalled

Dollar General Merchandising has recalled 396,000 metal key chains. They contain high levels of lead, which is toxic to young children if ingested.

The metal key chains were available in three different designs: flip-flop, dangling charms, and a letter. The flip-flop-style chains come in purple, yellow, and aqua blue, with a flower at the top. The dangling style have a silver chain with charms in the shapes of a cross, flower, shamrock, and heart. The letter style consist of a silver letter from the English alphabet. The key chains were sold at Dollar General stores nationwide from December 2005 through January 2007 for $1.25.
