Mom Congress Advisor: Carol Evans

Carol Evans is a mom and President of Working Mother Media.

Carol Evans is the President of Working Mother Media, a division of Swedish publishing giant Bonnier Corporation. Working Mother Media includes the 29-year-old Working Mother magazine, Diversity Best Practices, The National Association for Female Executives, the Work Life Congress, and the Multicultural Women's initiative.

Carol led Working Mother magazine from its launch in 1979 through its 10th anniversary and created the influential WM 100 Best Companies list. She ran two other media companies, and returned to Working Mother in 2001, becoming the first mom to own the magazine. Since then, Evans has launched important national initiatives including the Best Companies for Multicultural Women, Best Law Firms for Women, Global Advancement of Women Conferences, and the Network and Affinity Leadership Congress.

Carol is proud mom to Robert, 21 and Julia Rose, 18, and has been married to Bob Coulombe for 23 years. They share their home with 3 dogs and a cat.
