One Million Trampolines Recalled

January 25, 2005
Jumpking, Inc. has recalled one million trampolines. Welds on the frame of the trampolines can break during use, resulting in possible injuries. They are also recalling 296,000 "FunRing" enclosures sold separately and with Jumpking trampolines. The mounting brackets for the enclosures have sharp edges, which pose a laceration hazard. The recall includes 14-foot and 15-foot Jumpking trampolines sold separately and with FunRing enclosures. The trampolines and enclosures were sold at discount, department, and toy stores nationwide. Consumers using the trampolines should order a repair kit.

Consumers should stop using the recalled items and contact Jumpking to receive free repair kits. To order a kit or for more information, contact Jumpking Inc. toll-free at 866-302-8669 from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. ET Monday through Friday or visit the company's website at www.jumpking.com.
