RadioShack Recalls Toy Pliers

RadioShack Corp. has recalled 25,000 Child Guidance Busy Baby Activity Tool Pliers. A small part of the toy can detach, posing a choking hazard.

The pliers are about 6 inches long and made of plastic. They have an orange handle, a red center knob, and a yellow knob on the side, and also contains plastic multicolored beads. The red knob has "child GUIDANCE" written on it. The toy is battery-operated and makes various electronic sounds and music, and has flashing lights. A label on the back reads "RadioShack." The pliers were sold at RadioShack stores nationwide and the RadioShack website for about $6.

Consumers should remove the toy from children and return them to any RadioShack for a refund.
