Small World Toys Recalls Wooden Puzzles

April 11, 2007
Small World Toys has recalled about 78,500 children's wooden puzzles with knobs. The knobs on puzzle pieces can detach and pose a choking hazard to children.

The recalled puzzles, "Sounds on the Farm" and "Sounds on the Go," were sold under the brands Puzzibilities and Ryan's Room. Each puzzle has four pieces in the shapes of farm animals or vehicles, which make animal or motor noises when lifted by the knob from the puzzle board. "Sounds on the Farm" or "Sounds on the Go" are printed on the top left of the puzzle board, and "24101" or "24102" are printed at the bottom. Both puzzles were sold for $16: Puzzibilities puzzles at toy stores nationwide and through catalogs from June 2003 through February 2007; Ryan's Room puzzles at Target stores nationwide from January 2006 through February 2007.

Consumers should take the puzzles away from children and contact Small World Toys for a free replacement toy. For more information, call Small World Toys at (800) 421-4153 between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M.
