"What does motherhood mean to me?"
That's the question that Eliza, Uma Thurman's character in the film Motherhood (in theaters, October 2009) needs to answer in order to win a magazine essay contest. And we're running the same contest at Parenting!
If you're our winner, your essay and photo will appear in the March 2010 issue of Parenting, and you'll be offered a one-week guest-blogging gig on Parenting.com. But that's not all -- you'll also receive a huge haul of Baby Björn gear, worth more than $1000!
From September 1, 2009, to November 1, 2009, email a 300-word essay plus an original photo that illustrates your essay's theme to scrapbook@parenting.com. Please include your first and last name, and your home state. See the rules.
Tips for Entering
It's most important to remember that your contest entry will be judged on both the essay and the photo -- and how they work together. Your essay may tell a great story, but don't forget to give it a proofread for grammar and spelling. Also, please make sure your photo illustrates the theme of your essay, and is not blurry (large size, hi-resolution is best). For both the essay and photo, please email them to scrapbook@parenting.com as attachments.
Good Luck!
