In french this translates to "crumb"...
on Oct 11, 2011
This does NOT mean small and sweet, it means crumb as in "please wipe the dirty miette's off the table, there are miette's all over your face".... Is it cute? yes, but do you ever want your child to hear "Ou a tu mis les MIETTE qui étais sur le sol !"??? There are people who will laugh at you for naming your child Miette, I dont care if it gained popularity from a book, if you love it use it as an unofficial nickname or avoid french speaking countries.
