We just names our daughter Agnes Joy and call her AJ. She was named after my husbands grandmother, who I was taking care of in the hospital and how I met my husband. The original Agnes has brought me so much Joy that I couldn't have named my first daughter anything else. She truly is "pure Joy." I love my daughters name, and actually think it is unkind to say a name should be "left in the old folks home". I would never name my child Neveah, or Apple, or Fame, but that doesn't mean that someone else shouldn't name their child one of those names. Names have meaning
