I'm passionate about driving for change on the plate, accompanied with getting kids more active. I would like to encourage you to go to lunch at your children's schools and SEE for yourselves what's really on their plates and if it doesn't meet your standards, tell someone.

I'm going to share what's going RIGHT, right here in my district!

After returning from DC this spring I made an ask of our School Board to step-up and remove sugary milk from our schools- our school already banned soda so it sounded reasonable to me, I didn't know what I was in for.
