Q&A with Hilary Duff

The former Disney tween queen of Lizzie McGuire fame is all grown up and a new mom to 8-month-old son Luca.

My proudest accomplishment so far as a mom is that I finally learned how to do a pretty badass swaddle. In the beginning, I used The Miracle Blanket. It shows you how to do a tight swaddle very easily.

Camera Plus is my go-to mom app because I can send tons of pictures of Luca to my family and friends without them becoming public.

50 Shades of yay or nay? This is really embarrassing, but I did read 50 Shades of Grey. I had to because all my friends had read it and everyone was talking about it. But I'm not necessarily proud of it.

Comedy or drama? I tend to watch a lot of serious TV shows, like Walking Dead and The Killing, both on AMC. I got hooked on them toward the end of my pregnancy when I didn't feel like doing much.

A typical date night for Mike and me is catching up on Shark Tank on the DVR. We'll try to save up a couple of episodes so we can watch them back-to-back. When Luca goes down, we'll look at each other and say, “Hey, Shark Tank date?”

Sleep or workout? Definitely workout. I get a little bit addicted to that sore feeling, when you know you've been working hard. Honestly, I'm so grateful to be able to escape for an hour a day and clear my head. I feel like it makes me a better mom.
