Henry, a happy 5-year-old middle child in the Hugglemonster family of five, will share his every day monster life with viewers, teaching lessons along the way on friendship, sharing, teamwork, not giving up and much more.
The animated series is based on the popular I’m a Happy Hugglewug book series by Irish author Niamh Sharkey. The show centers on the concepts of family, community and friendship, all themes that will resonate very well with kids in the targeted 2-7 age group.
“Henry Hugglemonster” premieres today, Monday, April 15 at 5:00 p.m. ET/PT on the 24-hour Disney Junior channel. If you want to catch a sneak preview of the show, you can watch a full 22-minute episode on Disney.com and then set your DVRs for the series.
Going by the high quality content that we have come to expect from Disney Jr., expect "Henry Hugglemonster" to resonate with little monsters everywhere.
