For: Keeping babies asleep – and helping parents to relax

 

There’s nothing more frustrating than just getting your baby to sleep when all of a sudden the sound of a barking dog, landscapers or sirens driving by wake up your tot. Good luck getting that baby back to sleep easily. The good news is that you can avert the problem altogether by running white noise in the background to muffle and mask any sounds outside of the nursery. 

Relax Melodies is a wonderful, free app that provides not only white noise, but an array of other sounds including rain, birds, music box, ocean, river and many more, as well as providing an alarm clock function. You can also play multiple sounds together at once if you really want to get fancy. Some wind chime and ocean wave action together will transport you to a different place and you’ll quickly forget about that darned dog.
