Take a Mommy Break with Hidden Chronicles – A New Online Game Designed By Women

Every mom needs a break at one point or another throughout the day. Between work, kids, household responsibilities, chauffeuring and everything else, taking a few minutes to do whatever relaxes you is very important for sanity's sake. 

Your “Calgon, take me away” moment may involve sitting in a quiet room with a cup of tea, reading a celebrity tabloid, taking a walk or just browsing on the Internet. If you’re more of an online type of gal, you may want to check out Hidden Chronicles, a new, free game by Zynga, a giant in the gaming industry that has brought us other hits like Farmville and Words with Friends. It’s a hidden object game, so if you’re a fan of similar games like I SPY and Where’s Waldo, you’ll enjoy Hidden Chronicles.

The premise is that you are beckoned to your uncle’s old mansion, only to find that he has been killed. It is your job to figure out the mystery of what happened to him and you are led through a series of challenges for finding, you guessed it, hidden objects. 

Hidden Chronicles was created by a team of women and is another foray into social gaming, which allows players to share scores, challenge each other and track progress through Facebook. The nice part about the game is that you can play as little or as much as you’d like, and you can play alone or with your friends on Facebook. 

A recent study revealed that 27 percent of women over the age of 30 spend a whopping three or more hours gaming each day.
