Video: The Next Generation of the Brat Pack
September 15, 2012
This year, Parenting Magazine went back to school Brat Pack style with an incredibly fun fashion story inspired by my favorite John Hughes films: The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It was by far my favorite fashion story to produce. (Check it out here.) I am a child of the 80's and recreating these iconic movies with mini versions of the stars was a blast!
The fun didn't end with the photo shoot. We captured some awesome moments on film to create a couple of hilariously adorable videos! Since we have two editions of the magazine (Parenting Early Years and Parenting School Years) we were able to showcase the kiddos from each edition hamming it up for the camera and even recreating scenes from the movies. Check them out below, and then leave a comment and let me know which version made you the most nostalgic, the toddlers vs. the big kids, and which John Hughes movie or character you relate to the most! Hope you enjoy watching these as much as we loved making them.
