The Recalls Plus app is a must-have resource for every parent. It provides a full listing of all recent recalls and also lets you customize personal lists of items you want the app to monitor such as car seats, cribs, and more. By setting up a Personal Watch List, the app monitors products that you own or plan to buy. When a product is recalled, the app provides more detailed information on the hazards, where the item is sold and most importantly, contact numbers and websites. Read Full Post

The study, “Impact of an Active Video Game on Healthy Children’s Physical Activity,” published in the journal Pediatrics, found that children who have active video games and play them regularly are not more active than those who don’t.
