This year, we made an important decision for our toddler: we're committed to perpetuating the Santa Clause myth. We're doing it because, well, what other opportunities does she have to believe -- really believe -- in magic?

We couldn't think of any.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

It's easy to be thankful for the love of our friends and family, but let's not forget the day-to-day stuff -- the details that make up the bigger picture. For example:

I'm thankful that she's liking preschool a lot.

I'm thankful that we only have one more credit card to pay off.

I'm thankful that my husband cleans the kitchen every morning.
