Packed with potassium for healthy muscle function, bananas just might be the perfect fruit for kids.

1 Pop Goes the Naner
Puree bananas and blueberries with apple-sauce and a few tablespoons of water. Pour into ice-pop molds and freeze.

2 Peanut Butter Puppy
Spread 1 Tbsp peanut butter and 1 Tbsp of your favorite jam on a hot dog bun and place a peeled banana in the center.

3 Tropical Freeze
Skewer half a banana. Dip in melted chocolate or peanut-butter chips, then roll in crushed peanuts or chopped almonds and freeze.

4 Fro-Yo for Breakfast
Slice a banana into 1-inch rounds. Using a toothpick, dip each piece in flavored yogurt, then dip in granola. Place on a baking sheet and freeze.

5 Southern Sweet
Layer crushed vanilla wafers, banana pudding, sliced bananas, and whipped cream in a cup. Top with caramel sauce.

6 Smoothie Operator
Combine 1 banana, 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1 cup chocolate almond milk, and 1 cup ice. Blend until smooth. Freeze overripe bananas to us in smoothies.

7 Chips Off the Block
Slice bananas thinly and place on a baking sheet in a single layer without touching each other. Brush with 1 Tbsp lemon juice and bake in a 200°F oven for 2 hours, or until dry and crispy.

8 Banana Choco-dilla
Place sliced bananas, slivered almonds, and chocolate chips in a whole-wheat tortilla. Fold the tortilla over (for one serving) or cover with another tortilla (for two servings) and cook in a skillet over low heat until chocolate melts.
