Final Mama's Boy Blog: Thank You & Goodbye

Today is my last Mama’s Boy blog on parenting.com I had a fun, successful two years and leaving this blog feels bittersweet, but right. In 2010 when I left glamour.com I had a mini meltdown. Glamour and glamour.com completely lifted me up and made me the writer and blogger I am today.

In 2010 I felt like my story wasn’t over and I had more to give—I am so happy I had the chance to do it here on parenting.com But, today I feel like I have come full circle and it’s time for me to have a fresh start in many, many aspects of life, family, love and career. I’m going to dip out for a moment and recharge my batteries, but on June 1 I’ll debut a new, fresh blog and headline as the only single parent voice. In addition, I'll continue to work as a freelance fashion and accessory Market Editor at First for Women magazine. Lots of projects are in the works, too.

I wrote a cover line feature for June’s 2011 Parenting Early and School Years. Read The Single Parent Handbook here. It was picked up by cnn.com and celebritybabies.people.com 

The Single Mom Game Plan was featured on the Jessica Alba cover of April 2012’s Baby Talk.

Breath-Holding Spells in Tantrums was featured in the November 2010 issue of Parenting Early Years.

I wrote the Decemeber 2010 Hip Mama column for Baby Talk.
