Despite what Robin Robinson thinks, Santa is coming to our condo this year and he's real and we love him! I’ve done my research and JD wrote a letter to Santa. After the jump, some pressies JD is getting this year, that I know your preschoolers will love too! 

This morning while I was in the shower for three minutes JD found his Batmobile and Batman in my closet. I ordered it from Target.com and it came in a giant box, so for space, I ditched the box and tossed the toy on top of two big bags of his other gifts. This was me being lazy and underestimating my preschooler.

Three years ago when Michael Phelps won eight gold medals in the Beijing games and President Obama was elected as President of the United States of America, I felt like I could definitely, without fail raise a strong, successful boy, even though his father isn’t around—both Obama and Phelps were raised by single moms.

I find it hard to maintain my friendships with my friends from New York City. There, I said it. I’m saying it because a friend recently called me out on it. When JD was first born, I happily loaded him into the Jeep and cruised over the GWB. I call this the denial stage.
