Your kids are back in school so what are you going to do about it?  Mom Congress is putting the focus on parent engagement this week with a blog-a-thon, a chorus of online voices rallied around the cause of building great schools for our kids.

During the week of September 12-16, Parenting.com and Mom Congress would love you to join us in writing open letters to your kids as they head back to school, saying what you'll be doing to help them get the best education possible this year.  Because, let’s face it, you play a huge role in your kids’ education.

Send us the link to your blog post or Tweet it with the hashtag #mcblogathon, and we'll spread your letter to our audience of 100,000 Facebook followers and 148,000+ Twitter followers.

Mom Congress is also sponsoring a contest that will give $20,000 to a school in need. The contest is open through the end of September, so please consider linking to this contest in your blog post as a way to let your friends, family and followers know!
