Ashley's baby has arrived!
36w5d- Throughout my pregnancy, I’ve created little milestones to keep me going. If you look at the full 40 weeks as one big lump sum, it’s too daunting.
36w3d- I never believed that there was such a thing as “pregnancy brain.” It seemed like just another pregnancy cop-out that women used to their advantage.
36w1d- I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say, my doctor doesn’t think I’ll make it all the way to 40 weeks.
35w6d- People are starting to look at me like I’m a ticking time bomb. Or maybe I just feel like one. Actually, it’s probably both.
35w2d- I’ve officially outgrown my maternity clothes. I’m half proud and half annoyed.
34w3d- I’ve always just assumed I’d get an epidural. You don’t get an extra gold star when leaving the hospital for having the baby without any pain meds.
34w1d- I learned an invaluable lesson today: It doesn’t hurt to ask, especially when you’re pregnant.
33w2d- Word to the wise: Opt for the childbirth class that’s stretched out over a few weeks. Don’t think you’re being smart and efficient by signing up for the 9 a.m to 4 p.m., one-day class. It’s just too much for one day. Too much.
32w5d- OK, Abby can come whenever she wants. The nursery is painted.
