Few decisions are as life-altering as choosing a baby name. Choose the wrong one and your kid could face years of ridicule and terrible nicknames, and you (gulp) grief from your mother-in-law.

We’ve written about baby name regret before. But now according to an article in The Sun, one in five parents regrets the name they gave their kid. What's cutting edge today might become incredibly passé in -- oh -- twelve minutes or so. That's why boys' names like William, Oliver, Jack, Alfie, Thomas and Joshua, and girls' names like Chloe, Ruby, Olivia, Emily, Grace and Jessica, are ranked as the most regretful choices.
