Best and Worst Halloween Candy

From M&Ms to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, The Daily Beast recently ranked 40 popular Halloween candies from the unhealthiest treats to the not-so-frightening. Some of the numbers are startling (and really make me wish I hadn’t dipped into our candy stash for the trick-or-treaters last night.)
The rankings are based on regular-sized candy packages rather than the ‘fun sizes’ usually given out on Halloween -- but chow down on a handful of chocolate minis, and the fat and calorie count will definitely add up.
The worst of the worst? Twix bars, whose chocolate, caramel and cookie centers clock in at 286 calories, 10.8 grams of saturated fat, 37 grams of carbohydrates, and 27.5 grams of sugar.
Rounding out the Top 5 fatty candies are:
Milky Way (264 calories, 7.0g saturated fat, 34.6g carbs)
Baby Ruth (275 calories, 7.3g saturated fat, 38.9g carbs)
3 Musketeers (262 calories, 5.2g saturated fat, 46.7g carbs)
Mounds (258 calories, 11g saturated fat, 31.1g carbs)
Thanks to fewer calories and grams of saturated fat, York Peppermint Patties are ranked the healthiest candy option, with 165 calories, 1.9 g saturated fat, 34.8g carbs, and 27.4g sugar.
Where did your kid’s favorite candy rank?
