Plenty of new moms worry about losing the baby weight once Junior arrives, but not Jessica Simpson. The singer and fiancé Eric Johnson won’t welcome their bundle of joy until the spring, but the New York Post reports the star, whose weight has been the subject of tabloid gossip in recent years, has already signed an estimated $3 million deal with Weight Watchers to help slim down after the birth.
While many moms hang up their favorite pair of pre-baby jeans as incentive to shed pounds after they get into a routine with baby, obviously very few have this kind of huge carrot dangling on a stick. Either way, kudos to Simpson for planning to lose the baby weight in a healthy way (Weight Watchers was recently ranked the number-one weight-loss diet by U.S. News & World Report, and offers special accommodations for breastfeeding mamas).
