Kentucky Dad Leaves Baby at Grocery Store

Call it a case of “daddy brain”: in a central Kentucky Kroger parking lot, a man struggling to get groceries and his three kids in the car left one very important thing in his shopping cart—his 6-month-old, reports the Associated Press.

A couple found the baby just a few minutes later and took him back into the store to call police, which the dad was also doing as he sped back to the store, realizing what he’d forgotten. The police described the father as “totally distraught” and while there are no charges against the dad, the case is being referred to social services.
