Of all the hidden dangers parents have to watch out for, here is one more the New York legislature wants to add to the list: sippy cups. That cup with the adorable little dinosaurs or fishies may soon be slapped with the same kind of warning label as cigarettes and alcohol, Time reports.
Dentists warn that when toddlers fall asleep with sugary liquids like milk and juice in their mouths, bacteria eats away at Junior’s teeth. Children’s dental health is definitely important but a warning label on sippy cups seems a little bit extreme.
