A heroic mother and grandmother rescued two children from a stranger who was trying to throw the kids in front of a moving train.

The family was waiting at an NJ Transit station, where the children had moved closer to the tracks to get a better look at their approaching train. A man walked up to the curious kids and grabbed one child by the neck and the other by shoulder, leading them even closer to the tracks and then attempting to push them in front of the train.

The kids’ mother and grandmother saved the day by tackling the man to the ground and freeing the children. They held the stranger down while a bystander called 911. Police found the women sitting atop the man when they arrived at the scene.
