Whether you’re counting your lucky stars that you weren't harder hit, or just viewing the
devastating images from afar, we’re all thinking of the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Here are some
ways families can aid those who were affected.
Red Cross: Text the word "Redcross" to 90999 to make a $10 donation, visit www.redcross.org,
or call 800-RED-CROSS.
New York Blood Center: The Red Cross canceled many blood drives to work on relief efforts,
and now blood shortages are feared. If you are in the area, call 800-933-2566 to donate or visit
Salvation Army: They are operating mobile feeding units and shelters to help the hard-hit areas.

Feeding America: This charity is working to distribute food to the storm's victims. To donate,

Save the Children: They are providing staff and resources to hardest-hit areas of New Jersey to
