FDA to Review Link Between Food Dyes and Hyperactivity

Is there a link between hyperactivity and that neon-orange Cheetos coating? The FDA began a two-day review today of available data to determine if there is a causal link between certain food dyes and behavioral disorders such as ADHD.

One finding that may hint at the outcome is that the FDA has confirmed for a pre-review analysis that hyperactivity, ADHD and similar behavioral problems are "exacerbated" by artificial food coloring.
