In an interview in this week's People magazine, Jillian Michaels shares pictures of her new family—and 'fesses up that motherhood is much harder than she thought.
According to The Huffington Post, Michaels apologized for "not getting it" pre-kids: "Telling moms, 'You need to put yourself first'? It's impossible to put yourself first when you're a Mom…Parenting is not for sissies. You have to sacrifice and grow up." (True that!) Michaels adopted her daughter from Haiti, and her partner just gave birth to their son.

In a video interview on People.com, Michaels also dished about how much motherhood changes every aspect of your life: "It changes your DNA, your psychology, your physicality, even."
Michaels famously came under fire for once saying, on pregnancy and birth, that she would "never do that to my body," but it was later revealed that was because she has endometriosis.
