Breastfeeding doll: Would you buy your daughter one?

I recall my mother telling me that breasts were for feeding babies. I thought she was nuts. You see, I grew up never seeing much less understanding breastfeeding. Baby dolls came (and still do) with bottles! Who was she trying to kid?
Not so anymore, mamas. Welcome The Breast Milk Baby to the U.S. market! (Be sure to click to video to get the demo of how it works.)
Now your daughter (or even son!) can tie an apron across her chest, hold the doll to the flower "nipples" and pretend to nurse her baby. The doll makes mouth moves making a suckling sound and afterward, it cries until she's burped.
The Spanish toy company behind the $90 plaything says: “The Breast Milk Baby lets young girls express their love and affection in the most natural way possible, just like mommy!” And there are plenty of voices out there that agree.
But not everyone sees this type of pretend play as natural. To wit: "Really? This is too much! WTH is wrong with toy makers? Who would think that this is appropriate for a young girl????? WHY would you want a little girl mimicing breast feeding?????????" from Tanya on CBS Miami's website.
So, what do you think? Are Americans ready for a breastfeeding doll? Is this a boon for normalizing nursing and just something a child should not be doing.
