Funflectors: Making Halloween Safer for Trick-or-Treaters
October 10, 2011
When I heard there were "cute" reflectors kids could attach to their costumes to keep them safe from traffic on Halloween I rolled my eyes. Let's be real: nobody—kids or moms—want nerdy reflective tape junking up their awesome costume. But on Halloween, a night when countless kids are walking around in the dark, we have to remember to play it safe.
Surely nobody will mind clipping one of these cute "funflectors" somewhere on their freakin' cute Frankenstein costume. (The chain clasp makes it snappable to almost anything.) Kids can pick from multi-colored ghosts, Jack-o-Lanterns, cats and skulls, making spooky-cute costumes even spookier.
After Halloween, clip it to their back pack. Can't hurt.
