In news that's either complementary to dogs or insulting to babies, a recent study by the University of Florida has found that dogs have the development abilities of two-year-olds, capable of learning the meanings of 165 words and gestures, counting to 5, and even doing simple math.
They also found that dogs can read human body language and use it to their advantage, pointing to instances where dogs are more likely to beg for food from someone who is paying attention to them. Does your baby do that?
How smart is your dog? Is he smarter than your baby?
