The good news: We are so happy about Tina Fey's announcement that she's pregnant with baby number two! (Fey's daughter Alice came up with "I want to go to there." What hilarious catchphrase will this baby come up with?)
This is only months after she wrote a piece for the New Yorker about working moms and guilt. She wrote:
What is the rudest question you can ask a woman? "How old are you?' "What do you weigh?" No, the worst question is: "How do you juggle it all?" The second-worst question is: "Are you going to have more kids?"
The bad news: The future of "30 Rock" is uncertain, since with the current season already wrapped, producers have decided not to write her pregnancy into the show. What would the show be without its star, chief writer and executive producer?
"No matter how you add up the months, it means derailing the TV show where two hundred people depend on me for their income, and I take that stuff seriously," she said.
With the birth of Alice in 2005, Fey took off just six weeks. She's due with baby #2 in August, around the time taping for the next season starts. We'll be waiting to hear news of the next season of 30 Rock and wish Fey luck with her pregnancy!
