Forget your kid’s sugar high on Easter yesterday—this Easter Bunny may have been in pursuit of something stronger.
Police arrested a 24-year-old costumed Easter Bunny on drug charges at a Virginia mall last Friday, reports WFMY News, following complaints from mall businesses and management of suspicious behavior during his breaks—but not while he was in contact with children.
Thankfully local children were spared the sight of the Easter Bunny’s arrest, as Danville Police escorted Joshua Lee Bolling away from public view before arresting him on charges of illegally possessing prescription narcotics. He was not a mall employee but had been hired by another company to provide Easter entertainment.
Did you celebrate Easter? Are your kids still in sugar-shock?
