With Thanksgiving on the horizon (gulp!) and Christmas hot on its heels (double gulp!), we’re moving into the season of holiday cheer–and gift-grubbing. Kids are also barraged by ads for toys and computers and video games this time of year, so it’s not uncommon for kids to come down with a case of the “gimme’s” and find themselves with a Christmas list that’s way, way too long. And while we love to play Santa with our kids, we also want them to feel grateful about what they already have–and to understand how to give of themselves as well.
